A Covalent Bond: Women’s Colleges, STEM and National Defense
Join us on Wednesday March 30, 2022 from 11:00 AM - noon EDP as the Women’s College Coalition will host a virtual panel with Deputy Secretary of Defense, Dr. Kathleen Hicks, alumnae of Mount Holyoke, and 11-term Congresswoman Betty McCollum, alumnae of St. Catherine University, to discuss advancing women in STEM and matters of importance to student leaders from our women’s colleges. In this special, student-led discussion, Dr. Hicks and Rep. McCollum are excited to explore issues selected by several student representatives from our WCC member institutions. We hope this unprecedented virtual gathering for our WCC community will inspire students and incite meaningful discussions surrounding this increasingly important sector and the vital role women play in its success.
