One of the most important decisions you can make in our complex and challenging world is to decide what you will let inspire you. What inspires you will shape your world view: Your view of your work and of the people you come in contact with. You will set the direction of your life by what you let inspire you. This is not a simple decision.

We are bombarded daily by messages in so many media and have to take control of this for ourselves. What each of us lets inspire us is a critical life choice. Make this choice consciously. Do not let yourself drift into it. Look at those you admire up close, and those you admire from afar. What inspired them? Look at the great women heroes to whom you have been introduced, and introduce yourself to others. Look at what inspired them.

So often, great people are those who are inspired by their faith and its teachings on the dignity of all, those who constantly look for the better angels in others, those who draw inspiration from the beauty of creation, music, arts, philosophy, and the kindness and uniqueness of others.
