Center: Karen Potter '08,
Mary Baldwin College

Tri-Athlete Featured on ESPN:

It is confirmed: Mary Baldwin College will appear on national networks in April, 2007 on programs featuring student-athlete Karen Potter ’08.

Potter, a three-sport athlete at MBC, will be one of just two students highlighted in an hour-long episode of NCAA On Campus airing April 18, 2007.

The monthly television show, broadcast on ESPN Classic, includes student-athlete accomplishments and news from around the country.

Potter has been a swimmer, field hockey player, and softball player during all three of her years at the college, and was a member of the Atlantic Women’s Colleges Conference championship team in 2005, which went on to make an appearance in the NCAA tournament. Potter is also a student in the Virginia Women’s Institute for Leadership, where she serves in the color guard.
